“Great card for the money.” 2009-10-01
By Jose Manuel Gomez
I bought this card a while ago for my p4 rig which doesn’t have an IGP, and I gotta tell you, I was worth it, indeed.

Even though you can’t run modern games on it, you can do pretty decent vintage gaming on it. If you missed games like COD2, quake 4, prey, FEAR, Oblivion and so on you can do it fairly decently with this card.

I mean, I tried COD2 on it and it ran without a single problem with a steady frame rate all the way through. something I have to admit didn’t expect at all. Videos also look great in this card and it’s easy as pie. AMD also has Linux drivers ready, which means that if playing a little bit old games isn’t your thing you can still use this card to get great effects to your compiz and so on.

All in all, if you have a p4 or older athlon computer you want to breath some life into, don’t hesitate to buy this card. To me it was worth every penny.

“Card works well in Windows XP-7, not so well in Linux” 2009-08-26
By D. A. Mawson (Boston, MA USA)
My primary reason for purchasing this card was to extend the life of a seven year old Dell Dimension PC. In Windows (particularly Windows 7), it seems to have admirably done so. My PC is now significantly faster than it was with an old Nvidia FX5200 card.

Unfortunately, I use this PC primarily to play around with Linux, and ATI’s support of Linux drivers is poor. This card shows no improvement over the Nvidia card it replaces. I’m going to continue to research how to improve performance, but for the moment I can only give the card three stars based on its Linux performance.

Redefine the way you play HD games and enjoy unprecedented levels of graphics realism powered by 320 stream processing units, up to 512MB of memory and support for Microsoft DirectX 10.1 games. Upgrade your graphics card and watch Blu-ray movies and play HD content with incredible visual fidelity1. These graphics cards do it all with break-through energy efficiency, eliminating the need for an external power connection and making them easy to install. With its 92mm cooling fan, this soon to be part of the Professional Cool Solution (PCS) product line, increases air flow at a lower fan speed that easily dissipates heat from an optimized heat sink which fully covers the PWM and memory. The special fan design avoids direct contact with high temperatures emanating from the heat sink, extending the life cycle of the cooling fan. Keeping fan noise at a minimum, the fan speed automatically adjusts while it’s under idle, in 2D or 3D mode—helping to deliver the perfect heat dissipation, allowing a better user experience……..
Readmore

“GDDR2, perfectly adequate for older systems” 2010-01-05
By Michael (Virginia, USA)
Has a cleaner design than the product pictured, the fan is more standard and sits over the heat sink without any large plastic enclosure (a better design and appearance, see the more recent pics uploaded by other customers). The memory does show up as GDDR2, which for the older AGP system that I was upgrading proved to be perfectly adequate. Runs beautifully with Source games, including the Half-Life series, Portal, and Left 4 Dead I and II.

“Diamond ATI Radeon HD 4650 AGP 512MB GDDR2 Video Card” 2009-11-11
By Robert Opgenorth
Card works great. It lets you make the most of your older AGP slot motherboards. The drawbacks are the installation instructions are poor and I had a hard time installing the drivers to make it work. The card also takes up a lot of space and the cooling fan sticks down so far as to make the adjacent PCI slot unusable. The specs list a minimum 300W power supply needed to run this card. I’m currently running it from a 250W supply without any trouble, but I don’t have a lot of other loads on my system.

“Great performance, questionable specs, poor power connector design” 2009-10-17
By T. Kadow (Michigan, USA)
Great Performance…

This card has breathed new life into my aging PC. I installed this in a PC with a Socket 754 Sempron64 3100+ CPU. Running Win XP Pro with 1.5GB RAM. Replaced an NVidia 6200. This PC is used as an HTPC and is connected to a projection TV via Component Video. I do not play any games on it, just run SageTV software with multiple TV capture devices. My old video card was unable to playback 1080i MPEG-2 or any HD-h.264 videos. This Diamond ATI Radeon HD4650 AGP card plays everything flawlessly (provided I am using codecs that are able to use hardware acceleration) with either Overlay mode or VMR-9 Renderless (Full Screen Exclusive). Regular VMR-9 works when playing back in windowed mode, but there is some stuttering during full-screen playback of HD MPEG-2 content with plain VMR-9.

Using the ATI MPEG codec with DXVA hardware acceleration to play back MPEG-2 content full-screen on a 1080i TV, CPU usage maxes out at about 45% for 1080i content, 40% for 720p, and 20% for 480i. Using the MPC-HC h.264 codec to play a 720p file required only about 15% CPU. I am still unable to watch Hulu content at full screen, but this is because there are currently no hardware accelerated codecs for playing back FLASH content, and my Sempron 3100 just doesn’t have enough power to handle it.

Questionable Specs…

The picture shown on the Amazon page is still incorrect. The installation guide has a diagram that looks like the picture on Amazon’s website, but it’s wrong too. The card has 2 DVI connectors and one round S-Video connector. The package includes 1 DVI to VGA adapter, 1 DVI to HDMI adapter, 1, S-Video to Composite adapter, and 1 S-Video to Component (HDTV) adapter. The heat-sink and fan look different too. Oh, and the PCB is green, not red.

The Box says 512MB DDR2 on the front, but the side of the box says 512MB DDR3. Inside the Catalyst Control Panel, it reports the card as having DDR2 memory. The Diamond website lists it as DDR3. There are several other manufactures building HD4650 cards, but from what I can tell all the others used DDR2 (though some had 1024MB).

The Diamond Website says a 300W power supply is required, but the box says 400W. All the other manufacturers that make HD4650 cards seem to recommend 400W. My computer has a 300W supply, and it seems to be OK.

Poor Power Connector Design…

The card requires more power than the AGP bus can provide, so it has an auxiliary power connector (6-pin, 12V). It also includes a 6-pin to 4-pin molex adaptor, in case you have an older power supply that doesn’t have one of the 6-pin connectors. The problem is that this connector is on the front of the card (top-left) and sticks straight out. There is no way to plug power into this card without interfering with the first PCI slot on most ATX or mini-ATX motherboards. I was fortunate that I could put a half-height card in that first slot, because a full height card not fit next to this video card. It’s a shame they did this, because it is otherwise a nice single-slot card. There are a couple of other manufactures building these HD4650 cards, but they all appear to have the power connector in the same place. It would be much better if they rotated the connector 90 degrees or mounted it on the back of the board.

This is a medium-sized video card. Length-wise, this card just barely fits in my Silverstone LC-17 case. It is a little longer than the old 6200 video card it is replacing. Even with the fan it does fit in a single slot, but as mentioned above, the power connector is likely to interfere with one of your PCI slots.

The fan is super quiet (even with the case open and my head a few inches away, I can’t hear it over the LC-17 case fans.

One other note, when you first set the card up, you must connect a monitor to one of the DVI connectors (you can use the VGA adaptor). You cannot get the HDTV output setup correctly the first time if you just connect it straight to the Component HDTV connector. Once you get it setup, you can disconnect the monitor and everything works great.

Bottom line…

Although there are some discrepancies between the data published at Amazon’s website, Diamond’s website, and the product packaging, and the power connector is layed out poorly, I am happy with the performance I am getting with the card.

“WATCH OUT…. Was listed with DDR3 memory; now shown w/slower DDR2″ 2009-10-10
By Brighton Funny (Ann Arbor, MI)
Be careful before you buy this card… Until a few days ago, this video card was listed by Amazon as having DDR3 memory.

Inexplicably, this video card is now shown as being equipped with the very different “DDR2″ memory (a much slower variety of memory chip). This is after this product was temporarily unavailable for a few days through Amazon (the page was red flagged by Amazon as “Under review” for a few days, and then became available again with the memory spec quietly changed).

What’s going on? All the reviews of this card, the product’s .pdf sheet, and even Diamond’s own Web site and product literature note that this is a DDR3 card. It’s one of the chief reasons this card’s performance has been so well-reviewed - particularly for users with older processors (and since this is an AGP card, that will apply to most people interested in this item). To the point: Without the DDR3 memory, it’s not the same card. How can it be sold here under the identical model number (Diamond Model #4650512A)? It is very misleading.

UPDATE: There are multiple user complaints over at another popular electronics retailer (with the initials NE), where customers note they ordered this card expecting DDR3 memory (as of this writing, it’s still listed as having DDR3 over there), and received DDR2 instead. I contacted Diamond directly asking what’s going on - as I mentioned, Diamond’s own Web site lists this model as having DDR3 memory - and have yet to receive any response (it’s been 6 days so far). Buyer beware.

“works with Linux!” 2009-09-16
By Michael L. Earl
I was looking to get another year or two of life for video games out of my 5-year-old AGP-slot Linux system, and this appeared to be one of the faster cards available for AGP. The graphics are a dramatic improvement over my old Radeon 9200SE. It won’t make your clunker into a state-of-the-art gaming machine, but if you’re looking to make MMORPGs or similar look good on an old PC, $80 on this may let you live with it happily for a good while longer.

The card shipped was slightly different from the picture shown; it had a smaller fan and two DVI ports instead of one d-sub and one DVI (although they included HDMI and d-sub adapators, plus HD component, so no harm done). A Molex cable for motherboards where you need to connect the power supply directly was also included.

I can’t speak to the Windows drivers; if, like, me, you want to use it with Linux note that the GPL drivers don’t support 3D acceleration yet (as of 9/2009 - work is underway), so you’ll presumably need to install the ATI (”fglrx”) drivers. The only issue I’ve seen is occasional video corruption when switching between virtual consoles while using full-screen openGL, but that functionality is non-critical and obscure enough that I can easily live without it.

“WOW! What a difference” 2009-12-17
By Movieskinny (Chico,CA)
I had an ATI x850pro in a Gateway 2.8 P4 machine, and could play many of the games like Half Life2 and others from that general year of production. BUT, I always had a difficult time with some furious action in HL2, and could never get Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay to even play the opening scenes. This is the true test of how well a video card is working, will it play that eye candy game that sends your old video card into cardiac arrest. Well, this AGP based HD card from HIS/ATI is definitely a winner. It now plays Riddick like my other faster machine. Prey might be a next good test for this card. Give your old AGP based computer a kick of high definition with this HIS video card.

“Excellent Product, but needs power off the power supply!” 2009-01-06
By Kevin Khan
I needed an upgrade for my Aging nVidia 5500FX card so I reviewed this card from Amazon and make my purchase.

The package arrived, on schedule and in great condition. No damages.

Installation was a snap. Instructions are in multiple languages in case it is needed.

Card installation was simple: Pull out old card, plug in new card.

The only catch is that this card NEEDS to be EXTERNALLY powered from off our power supply.

Thankfully, I had a free mini 4 pin power plug from off the power cabling which I used.

Installing the drivers and monitoring software was also pretty easy. (using Windows XP Pro)

All in all - a great product but PLEASE be forewarned. You need that power cable off your power supply or else the card wont work!

“Great AGP card” 2009-12-08
By William J. Thompson (So. Florida)
I purchased this card for the HDMI output and HDCP compliance. It’s a great card to update an aging machine; even works with 64-bit Windows OS’s without having to go searching for drivers.

“First online item that I ever returned” 2009-10-22
By S. Qiu (TX USA)
If you intend to use this for HD playing for H.264 encoding using DXVA, you are wasting time. I finally returned this item.

1. Installation/Uninstallation very difficult

This card is very difficult to plug in the AGP. Need extra power connector or a Y connector. The fan housing actually blocks AGP lock so if you want to unplug the card, you cannot get the lock and unlock it from AGP. I almost broke my finger nail for that. If there are motherboard capacitor nearby, be extremely careful

2. The normal driver for ATI does not work. You need to get the hotfix for AGP. I followed many websites’ suggestion to enable the DXVA, nothing got worked out as expected. Only 1 HD clip worked with DXVA activated when using MPC HC. I just don’t understand why the DXVA is so difficult to work on this card. Later, I purchased a PNY NVidia 8400 GS PCI, it worked mostly.

The conclusion is that ATI is lagging behind on NVidia big time on HD playing. Things are totally different now. I still remember that ATI was so good in 2001.

“Excellent card with capabilities many don’t realize.” 2009-09-13
By J. Byers (Woodstock, ON Canada)
This is an excellent card for a non-gamer.

The above reviewer has it backwards. The GPU is underpowered for gaming. The memory is more than the GPU can likely utilize but there MAY be some applications that can utilize more than 256MB, especially if you have a dual-monitor setup.

Other:

- Great drop-in for motherboards with underpowered on-board graphics.

- Not a modern gaming card though some games with low requirements, especially some older games may run fine.

- Dedicated memory instead of sharing onboard RAM. Very useful if you are extremely limited in onboard RAM (freeing up 128MB out of 1024MB does help)

- The UVD can decode AVC/H.264 and VC-1 1080p video (or lower). You likely need to install the free application “K-Lite” ([...]) and ensure DXVA is enabled. Very useful especially if your CPU was previously underpowered. Just watched Hellboy (1080p, MKV, AVC, DTS 6-channel). My X2-4800+ CPU used 65% of its cycles without DXVA enabled (no hardware graphics decoding) and 3% (THREE PERCENT) with it enabled. Vista or Windows 7 used 10% more on average for the Windows overhead but movies still didn’t go above 20%.

- full Aero support

- There is essentially NO noticeable difference between most modern graphics cards. Differences in the Windows interface performance are usually due to differences in the Hard Drive speeds or amount of RAM. A fast SSD and at least 2GB of RAM (with this card and probably any dual-core CPU) will provide the best experience for multi-tasking and the basic Windows experience.

Conclusion:

An awesome little card that is adequate for most non-gamers and can provide a nice boost in various ways for older computers.

“Not a lot of oomph for that much memory…” 2009-08-29
By Philip Ekema (Kalamazoo, MI)
Yes, I know as well as the next guy that you should look at a lot more than memory when buying a graphics card. I bought this card without really finding any reviews for it. A lot of cards come with more memory than the card’s processor can handle. They upgrade the memory (very inexpensive) and leave the slower processor.

I am more and more convinced that this is the deal with this card. I know, there are many more factors to getting good graphics, (pixel shaders, etc.) and I think that this card is a little skimpy when it comes to performance, and especially with the specs that they think that no one will check.

Runs my vista eye candy nicely, but other than that I don’t think I can notice much of a difference between this and my old 128mb card.

Seriously people, look at more than the memory when buying a card.

“Great - if you have the power connectors!” 2009-12-05
By thersites
The good news and bad news about this card:

The good news - great card! I bought it as the “last best” videocard for my AGP motherboard - I took the advice on tom’s hardware and got this card. And it raised my performance hugely (my old video card was a 128MB GeForce), with no problems. It’s a little tricky getting the latest drivers (best bet is to go to sapphire tech: [...]), but otherwise no problems.

The bad news is - they don’t really tell you (and the manual is also very cryptic about it), but it turns out it needs _2_ 4-pin power supply connectors fed into it. As my old video card needed _0_ such power supply connectors, this was an issue :). It’s easily remedied by buying power supply splitter cables, which only cost about $4 (look at the ‘people who bought this also bought’ section), but if you don’t order them in advance, and you’re not near a Fry’s, you may have bought this video card and be unable to install it.

“Worst customer support in a long time” 2009-11-30
By A Sapphire user (Portland, OR)
Happened to find out the Sapphire card doesn’t natively support for the max resolution of the most common 22″ monitor. You have to settle with the low resolution for the picture ratio to be right. The Sapphire customer support seems to be totally ignorant/arrogant, and can’t provide any information other than “This is your monitor’s issue”. It’s such an experience of frustration that I would say goodbye ever to Sapphire/ATI

“Excellent Upgrade” 2009-09-15
By Douglas Paul (Melbourne, FL USA)
Being stuck with a motherboard with an AGP video slot, I thought I’d be stuck with 128MB VRAM forever, or until I shelled out the bucks for a new board. Following the recommendations of an MMORPG friend, I ordered this card. After installing the hardware and the drivers, I immediately loaded Age Of Conan (which is notorious for laughing at sub-par video cards), and my jaw dropped. The rendering speed and the detail were amazing. Unlike a previous card bought from a third party, this one didn’t crash every 20 minutes. I couldn’t be more pleased. Highly recommended.

“Best $100 bucks I ever spent…” 2009-09-15
By J. Ascencio (West Covina, CA)
I have an HP a250n Pentium 4HT 2.60mhz with 1GB RAM running Windows 7. I’ve been thinking about buying a new PC, but figured it would be WAY cheaper to just upgrade my video card. After searching around for AGP4x/8x video cards, I found that the HD3850 got the most praise out of the other 512mb cards, so I decided to give it a shot. As soon as I took the HD3850 out of the box, I new I was in for something awesome. When I switched out my NVIDIA GeForce5200 128MB card to the HD 3850, the FPS on Doom 3 sky rocketed… Not to mention overall pc performance. Also, Fallout 3 and Left 4 Dead ran a smooth 30FPS at 1024×768. This card gave new life to my PC. Dual DVI, S-Video, Dual monitor support… But no 1080p. Only thing is that you have to get a 450w or greater power supply with 30Amps on 12 volt with 2×4 power connector recommended. If you’re looking into getting one of these, you might want to do some research before it arrives at your doorstep, so that you have everything you need to install it and have it up and running in no time without any issues.

“Outstanding value” 2008-08-04
By Brian Baker (Santa Clarita, CA)
I use my desktop PC for gaming and advanced pro-level photographic applications, including Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom (among other processing software).

My <2-year-old PC is already a pretty fast machine, with an Intel 3.4 gig CPU and 2 gigs of RAM and on-board ATI-200, but it was straining and choppy with the graphics of current games like NWN2 MOB. On the other hand, I didn't want to spend $300 - $600 for a graphics card to upgrade a computer that only cost about $500 to begin with.

This card is the perfect solution! Not only is the price right in the ballpark of reasonability, but I was very surprised at the improvement of the quality of the graphics. On rerunning some of the gaming sequences, the improvement was simply astonishing!

Great value and performance from a proven supplier in ATI Radeon.

“Awesome card but be aware, the picture is not of this card..” 2009-12-02
By Derek Krzanowski (Merrill, WI)
I bought this one hoping that the picture was wrong because I wanted it based on the model number, not the picture and thankfully I did receive the correct model number (wrong picture). I bought it for my HTPC and I absolutely LOVE it! This card runs my movies and blu-ray at 1080p without hesitation. This card is a true bargain at $70. I see they are now asking $100 for it… I would not pay that much as you can get a higher end card for that price. The great thing about this card though is the built in HDMI port. If you are using it for a HTPC like me, this is a necessity. If you buy one with only dvi ports you will have to put the dvi to hdmi adapter on and then by the time you plug the cable in your htpc will stick out way past any other component in your rack. This thing also runs very quietly. When I pause the movies, you can just barely hear the power supply fan but not this one at all. I would imagine if you were playing a 3D intensive game, that would change as it would be heating up much more. Anyway, if you are looking for a great HTPC video card, then look no further. If you are looking to play 3D games on your TV, this will do the trick as well but you may want to consider stepping up a model or 2 as this one is definitely not a 3D workhorse even though it will get the job done.

If you are looking for the card in the picture, then you want Radeon HD4670 1GB 2PORT Dvi Svid.

“Great performance, great prices…but….” 2009-09-17
By T. Drude (Madison, AL United States)
First, I got a great price on the card - $67 and that included free shipping. In retrospect, the deliverly time was a bit slow (about 10 days from invoice to receipt), so I probably should have just ponied-up the extra $6 or so for two-day delivery.

FYI - This deal would have a been a “five star” for me, but the Diamond HD 4670 card that I received is not exactly like the one pictured here on Amazon.

To be fair, the model number that Amazon is advertising here looks exactly like the one on the Diamond web site. But Diamond must have changed the configuration of this card (4670PE31GDT) in recent months.

Rather than having two DVI ports and one S-video/Component port on the back panel, the card that I received has a VGA, a DVI, and an HDMI port.

Normally that wouldn’t be a problem, but I was specifically wanting a 4670 with a component output port, in order to interface it with an older rear-projection HDTV.

Again, the model number and SKU numbers match on the box and the card that I got. I double-checked everything. What the Web sites are saying it should have and what I got are out of sync. If component video out is important to you, I would suggest you take that into account.

Based on my experience, Amazon and Diamond both just need to update their pictures and description of the 4670PE31GDT to reflect the actual ports on the card, as it’s being shipped today.

As far as the performance goes, the card works fine in my somewhat-aging Intel Pentium D 945-based system. I had to re-seat it couple of times before the system would work, but then it was fine. Now I am getting a better “Windows Experience” rating for Windows 7 (5.3 overall) than ever I’ve had in the past. I plan on keeping this Diamond for now, but will also look for an older-style model that includes the component video output.

“Good HTPC card for a good price, only 1 small complaint.” 2009-09-13
By B. Devero
I think this is currently one of the best budget cards you can get that doesn’t require a separate power supply connection. It’s fast, small, and cheap. My only complaint is that while they claim it is the 4670PE31GDT model, it seems to actually be the 4670PE31GHP model. What is the difference? Only a slightly lower clock speed on the 4670PE31GHP (873Mhz vs. 900Mhz), and the inclusion of native HDMI output (No dongle needed!). I’d give this item 4.5 stars but amazon doesn’t allow half star incriments. I believe the mix up with the model numbers is a Diamond error, and not Amazon’s fault, because the box claims it is the 4670PE31GDT model, however if you go to the Diamond website and compare cards and specs, it is clearly the slightly slower 4670PE31GHP model, but this model includes a native HDMI output. I just prefer to know exactly what I’m paying for.

“Awesome card!” 2009-09-02
By Byron P. Fay II (North Canton, OH USA)
I LOVE this card! I have it in Crossfire with a second Diamond 4670 and they work great! This card takes no PCI-E power connectors, which is awesome since my PSU is very outdated and doesn’t have those capabilities. This card maxed WOW and it can play Crysis at High setting with very good FPS. It does run a little hot, but if you have nice airflow it shouldn’t be a major problem. This card is also very easy to OC in the CCC. Took me 5 minutes to OC it to where I’d like it. And another reason I bought this was the price. I went to Best Buy and bought a XFX 4350 for 85 bucks and it froze playing Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 on maxed settings! A 2006 game! So I took it back and saw this for around 60-65 bucks and I couldn’t pass it up! Awesome deal compared to Nvidia cards in this price range! And it arrived at my house a day before expected! The only thing I kinda don’t like about the card was that the end of the card below the DVI imput was bent, so it was impossible to get it to fit without breaking it, but I bent it back and it worked out great. I love this card and for the price its unbeatable!

“Two Heads Are Better Than One” 2009-12-24
By L. T. Thel
This card was purchased to replace a dual-output ATI card (one DVI, one VGA) that had died an honorable death after four years of service in a dusty environment. I use my computer mainly for internet browsing, processing photographs, and editing tasks: I don’t need blazing speed for games, but want two screens with the sharpest possible text and images. I was happy to find a reasonably-priced card with dual DVI ports. Imagine my disappointment on opening the box from Amazon to find a card with the same configuration (one DVI, one VGA, one S-Video) as my old card. But, my computer was broken, and for my usage, the difference in perceived output between the two cables is probably imaginary.

I don’t have any quarrel with Diamond or ATI or Amazon: they are all competent outfits. Since there is an Amazon-verified label next to this review, it seems to me that I did order a product with the reasonable expectation that it would have two DVI ports. Probably you will get the right product, but in case Amazon got a mislabeled lot or some robot mispulls your order, too, you might need to do a return to straighten things out. Probably, that is what I should have done instead of writing this lame comment. But sometimes, life is just too short.

“Great Dual DVI solution for budget gaming” 2009-09-14
By A. Goldberg (Austin, TX USA)
I have only owned this card for a few days, but it was easy to install and set up. It seems to be producing good color and text without any need to modify the display settings (unlike my previous card, which was always tough to calibrate with my LCD monitor). But it comes with a comprehensive configuration tool that will let you do everything from adjusting brightness to upping the clock speed. I don’t do a lot of gaming, so I can’t really speak to its abilities there, but I did want something that could handle gaming graphics if necessary, and I have no doubt it will perform just fine with a full 1GB of dedicated graphics memory.

If you’re not a gamer, buying a video card is kind of confusing. I just grabbed this one at a B&M retailer because it was PCI-Express, it could handle HD video (in case I ever put a Blu-Ray player in the PC), and it had two digital outputs for a good price.

Note that this is not the product in the picture. I’ve seen people complain about that on several review sites. This is the product in the title. It has two DVI video outputs and one S-Video out. DVI is the same signal as HDMI, so a simple cheap adapter will give you HD output to any device you need (I think it might have come with a DVI-to-Component adapter, but I’m not sure).

“Great For The Price” 2009-06-24
By Winterlights
I’m easy to please with graphics on the PC

since I don’t play lots of games on it. However,

when I do, I want to play them full out, not

having to scale back the speed or power of the

game. Realize that I used a 128 meg budget Radeon

card before this, so now, with 1 GIG and faster

hardware its been a great pleasure to pump up

games like Fallout 3 to full graphics. The only

downside to this, I’ve found, is the drivers, they

may give you problems with sound, of all things.

Better than what I had, and a HELL of a lot better

than on-board graphics, it’ll do you right and let

you play games on the PC so you don’t have to

buy a Zbox or a PS9, but be aware that you may

have problems with the software that your going

to need some power user skills to solve.

“This is not one with an HDMI port” 2009-03-24
By Talal Jasim Alammar (Kuwait)
This card is good for someone who wants a mid range graphics solution, if all your looking for is HD TV. However, the picture is deceiving, it shows that the card has a native HDMI port, but when I got it, all it had was DVI, VGA, & S-Video. I had to use a DVI-HDMI adapter. So if you want native HDMI port DON’T get this card.
